About this location
Flemington Road is a major link to the hospital precinct and the northern CBD fringe. Drivers here are often visitors, staff and patients, and many are stressed even before a wrong-fuel mistake.
North Melbourne links the CBD with the west and north through Flemington Road, Boundary Road and Arden Street. Hospital visits, market trips and delivery runs mean plenty of unfamiliar vehicles are refuelling in a hurry.
Liberty North Melbourne is shown here as a supplied reference location. It is not our business address, and the station is not a partner.
Wrong-fuel scenarios at this stop
Hospital visit, hurried fill
Hospital visitors may refuel quickly between appointments. If you filled wrong, stay calm, keep the key out.
Staff shift change
Shift workers in unfamiliar cars can pick the wrong handle. Tell us the engine status.
Rental car return run
Rushing to return a rental with a full tank is a classic error. Do not drive it back.
While you wait
Waiting advice
- Stay away from the pump exit.
- Keep your phone with you.
- Take a photo of the pump number.
Save your request, then review and accept an eligible quote. Pay securely when checkout is available. Only verified payment confirms the paid booking; technician dispatch is a separate step. Call 040 FUEL NOW if you need help. GPS and an estimated arrival depend on technician dispatch and sharing, not payment alone.
Safety at this site
Pedestrian and ambulance traffic is common nearby. Keep the vehicle clear of access routes.
Do not start the engine. Do not drain, siphon or drive the vehicle.
Questions about wrong fuel at Liberty North Melbourne
Wrong fuel on Flemington Road. Can I leave the car?
If it is safe and legal to do so, and you are contactable, yes. Lock it and note your location in the form.
Does Liberty offer this service?
No. We are independent and not affiliated with Liberty. The station is a location reference only.
Wrong fuel: what is the first thing I do?
Do not start the engine. If it is already running, switch it off when safe, do not restart, and request assistance.
Does saving a request dispatch a technician?
No. Saving records your details without charging you or confirming a booking. Accepting a quote is also not payment. Only server-verified payment confirms the paid booking, which awaits separate technician dispatch. Check your private receipt for dispatch status, or call 040 FUEL NOW. Rapid Fuel Technician is a service descriptor, not an emergency service.
What do the booking statuses mean?
Request saved: Your details are recorded. Nothing is charged and no booking or dispatch is confirmed by saving alone. Quote accepted: You have agreed to the exact price and confirmed coverage, including any separately approved extra fuel. Accepting is not payment. Payment verified: Our server has verified payment with the provider and confirmed the paid booking. A checkout redirect or pending payment is not verification. Awaiting dispatch: The paid booking is waiting for technician dispatch. Payment alone does not mean a technician is travelling or guarantee arrival. Dispatched: Technician dispatch is confirmed on your private receipt. GPS location and an estimated arrival appear only when the technician shares them; estimates are not guarantees. Completed: The job has been marked completed. Live tracking has ended.
